Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Fruity Zoo (“the app”) stores, what our advertising and analytics partners collect, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 16 July 2026 · Applies to Fruity Zoo for iPhone and iPad
The short version
- We do not ask for your name, email, or any account. There is nothing to sign up for.
- Your game progress stays on your device. We never receive it.
- The app does not use your location, contacts, camera, photos, or microphone.
- Ads and analytics are handled by Google, which does collect device identifiers and app usage. That is described in full below.
- There are no in-app purchases, so we never handle payment information.
Stored on your device only
The app saves your progress locally so it survives closing the app. This never leaves your device and we cannot see it:
- Highest level reached and the stars earned on each level
- Cards you have collected in the album
- Free hints used today and the date they reset
- How many times in a row you have lost the current level
- Whether you have finished the tutorial, seen the map intro, and your sound setting
Deleting the app erases all of it. Because there is no account, this data cannot be recovered or moved to another device.
What our partners collect
The app includes software from Google. When you play, these services collect data directly, under Google's own privacy policy:
| Service | What it collects | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), device type and settings, IP address, and how you interact with ads | To show ads and measure them |
| Firebase Analytics | In-game events — a level started, completed, or failed; stars, moves and time on a win; a hint used; which mode you played; a rewarded ad offered or completed — plus device model, OS version, approximate region, and a random app instance identifier | To see which levels are too hard and which features get used |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reports: what the app was doing when it stopped, device model and OS version | To find and fix crashes |
| Firebase Remote Config | Fetches settings from our server; sends the same random app instance identifier | To adjust the game without shipping an update |
None of these events contain your name, email, or anything you typed — the app never asks for those. Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy and, for ads specifically, in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Tracking and personalized ads
Shortly after you first open the app, it shows Apple's tracking prompt and asks permission to use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. We ask once; iOS only allows the prompt a single time.
You can change your mind at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. If you say no, you will still see ads — they will just be non-personalized. Saying no does not lock, limit, or slow down any part of the game.
Rating prompt
After you finish the tutorial the app may show Apple's standard rating prompt. It is handled entirely by Apple; we do not receive your rating or any personal information from it.
Children
Fruity Zoo is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us and we will act on it.
Your choices
- Turn off personalized ads: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Reset your advertising identifier: the same Tracking screen; this breaks the link to past ad activity.
- Delete everything on your device: delete the app.
- Ask about your data: email us at the address below. Since we hold no account and no identifiable records, our answer will usually be that we hold nothing about you — for data held by Google, use the links above.
Data retention
We do not operate a server that stores your data. Local progress lives on your device for as long as the app is installed. Data collected by Google is retained under Google's own schedules described in their privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
